Reeses Pieces 18 Months

He's a total gem, right? Things we love so much about our little Reeses Pieces:

1. He's pretty chill, sweet and cuddly, most times.
2. He's got THE best fake laugh, ever; and a real laugh too, he likes to laugh.
3. He eats everything, besides grilled chicken, ha ha, but he'll do fried though.
4. He gives the best kisses.
5. He's got a stellar immune system, at least we think, for how many times he's gotten sick this season.
6. He's great at getting haircuts.

He's pretty good with his brother, but loves to bother him to death. Occasionally, he hits his older brother, just because, but most times, because he deserves it. They fight over toys, but once in a while, Reese will slap a big, smoochy kiss on his brother.

8. Reese is a pretty good baby talker. Here's his list of words up to now:
yes, no, more, bye bye, daddy, mommy, eees (his own name), i did it!, book, duck, ou, peese (please), milk, water, cow, thank you, shoe, apple, rock, tree, more, a bite (he wants a bite of whatever food we're having)... that's what I can think of for now.
9. His favorite things are books!!!! Even if he has to read them upside down. The other day, at grandma's house, Reese found a phone book and started hitting my uncle with it, so he obliged and began reading him phone numbers straight from the phone book and Reese was in total Heaven.    ?????
10. Kohen may disagree, but we think it's pretty funny, Reese is a total night person. He screws around in his bed for about 2 hours each night before falling asleep. The boys sleep in the same room, Pieces in his playpen and Kohen in his bunk bed. Never fails, Kohen will fall asleep within the first five minutes, while Reese is up laughing his head off, making weird noises or just rolling around.  But then, his usual wake up time is around brunch time - so whatever.

11. He's just learned how to run, a little, and it's so cute.
12. He's around 26lbs, and 32in. Size 4 shoes, 2T pants, 24m shirts, size 5 diaper.
13. He sleeps with a blanket on his head, just like brother used to.
14. He's a professional pajama taker-offer. He takes off the zipper jammies and escapes out the top, with a just a few inches of space. That's pretty talented. He's not quiet as good of a poop-smearer as his brother was, though.
15. He's got almost all of his teeth, except for the ones in the very, very back, but haven't checked back there. He'd bite me, if I did.
16. Oh, he LOVES dogs. So much. We might look into something small and pure bred, short haired and something that makes virtually no poop - basically, like an engineered dog, that would be perfect in the future! ha ha ha

Things that aren't so fun:

1. Although Reese is a pretty chill guy, he's not a super huge fan of his rear-facing car seat.
2. He's got Reactive Airway Syndrome. He reacts to cold temperatures, getting overly excited, anytime he's sick, and other times, he wheezes just because, it seems. So he's on some pills, but that will be reevaluated by the Dr. shortly, and breathing treatments which are kinda of a last resort - but he have to bust those out, probably more than the Dr. would like us to.

Reese just started nursery and he loves, loves, loves it. Haha, the nursery ladies gave us some cups to "practice" drinking with, cause Reese just purposely spills whatever they give him. He obviously loves snack time, but I warned them that he will probably eat everyone else's food too. He loves cuddling with the ladies, and they love taking these Polaroid shots of him, which he brings home with his Jesus papers. It worked out super nicely, having the boys 26 months apart because Kohen is now in Primary (he can't decide if he's a fan yet or not), and the two are not fighting in nursery over toys.

And, it's super fun to have both kids in classes, because now, we can really participate in our classes and I have a new teaching calling. My audience is gonna be a challenge for me because I've never taught Relief Society lessons to older women (well, no offense, but that's our ward demographic), so I am gonna have to adapt big time, but I am excited.

Well, that's about it, for now. The last 18 months with Reese have been so fun, really busy and overall just great. He's a sweet little guy, who gets his feeling hurt if you raise your voice at him, but we are so excited to raise him into a super great guy! Love having two boys, now just gotta work on getting them to "like" each other. :)
