camping G's style
Glorious, small family get together idea: go camping!
Since my husband's side of the family is all about fishing, canoeing, and swimming - this was perfect. We had an incredible, relaxing time, out in nature. We roasted marshmallows, slept under the stars (which was a bad idea, turns out - the rear of your RAM is rather hard on hips, and it doesn't help when you wake up at 3 am with frost on your blankets), swam in the chilly waters of the East Canyon reservoir, caught some fish and watched the kids have an absolute blast with each other.
My favorite things were watching the sunrises and sunsets, and once the kids got quiet, listening to the soothing sounds of nature, smelling the campfires and seeing an abundance of stars in the sky.
