Another time in Newport Beach

We just love the gorgeous peninsula in Newport, across from Balboa Island, where we have been so lucky to score our uncle's house for the week. The boys had the best time with cousins, and I discovered something delicious down at Newport Landing, cronuts. Why have I never had them before........It's the most wonderful pastry, at least on this side of the world. It's a fresh, layer-ry, flaky croissant, but with the sugar coating of a doughnut. Yum.
